Qualities
Our philosophy is to offer our customers a wide range of qualities. Every parts can be delivered in maybe 1000 qualities today, and the 800 of them are bad! We use therefore a lot of time and energy to find good factories around the world, and we constantly keep an eye on the quality delivered so that we can stand up for it.
We use the descriptions according to EU commission regulation no. 1400/2002
(OE*):
Original (OE*): Parts from Mercedes.
Original exchange (OE*): Renovated exchange part from Mercedes (deposit is included in the price)
(OSP*) "Original Spare Part": (Parts with O behind the part number)
Original (OSP*): This part is OE quality, same quality as used for assembly of a new vehicle, and produced according to specifications and standards intended by the manufacturer of the vehicle.
Exchange (OSP*): Renovated exchange part in OE quality, same quality as used for assembly of a new vehicle, and produced according to specifications and standards intended by the manufacturer of the vehicle.
Original (OSP*) Sport: Sport/performance part in OE quality, same quality as used for assembly of a new vehicle, and produced according to specifications and standards intended by the manufacturer of the vehicle.
(MQSP*) "Matching Quality Spare Parts": (Parts with M or U behind the part number)
Alternative (MQSP*): Alternative quality, produced by a factory selected by us that delivers a good quality at a fair price. Can be as durable as Original quality, but there is always a link between price and quality.
Own brand (MQSP*): MBspecialist part in Alternative quality, produced by a factory selected by us that delivers a good quality at a fair price. Can be as durable as Original quality, but there is always a link between price and quality.
Own brand (MQSP*) Sport: MBspecialist Sport/Performace part in Alternative quality, produced by a factory selected by us that delivers a good quality at a fair price. Can be as durable as Original quality, but there is always a link between price and quality.
Used parts: (Parts with B or B with a number behind part number)
Used parts from mainly imported German private cars with low milage. Unmounted by our own workshop and quality checked.
The A1, A2 or A3 behind the B in the part number or in the part name means quality:
A1:(Used 1. sort) Almost like new
Body parts are not rusty, warped or dented, not repaired. Minor paint scratches are possible
Transmission parts (Engine, Gearbox and differential) Have 6 months full warranty. Look at group note for more info
A2: (Used 2. sort) Common good used condition
Body parts are not rusty, but can have small surface rust spots that can be sanded off. Not warped or dented, however, can have small soft bumps on straight flat surfaces. Dents on edges and bends is not possible. Small paint scratches are posssible.
Transmission parts (Engine, Gearbox and differential) Has 3 months warrenty. Look at group note for more info
A3: (Used 3. sort) Parts with one or more defects
Body parts may have larger dents, rust or otherwise.
Transmission parts (Engine, Gearbox and differential) May have a high km. figures, oil consumption, leakage or like, it will be announced at sale. Sold without warranty but with the right return. Look at group note for more info
Deposit
On exchange parts we charge a deposit until we get the old part back. This is the way to keep parts in cycle.
The old part must be send back in original packing
The old part must be emptied for fluids an washed
The old part must not have any outside damage
When you return parts for deposit, please send a invoice copy with it, and a return form http://mbspecialist.com/information/returnform/
A1:
Is 100% perfect and in order. Have been running around. 100,000 Km.
Have 6 months full warranty. That is, any symptoms. complaint we will pay the cost of repairing the problem, or provide a second unit and pay the cost of replacement.
If we have fitted the part, we also do the claimwork. If the client has installed him self, we make an agreement with his workshop BEFORE they start the claimwork a reduced hourly rate of complaint / repair cost. We supply any spare parts to repair
A2:
Good used parts that are functioning. Has run for between approx. 100,000 and 200,000 km.
Has 3 months warrenty, by claim we will pay half the cost of repairing or replacing, or providing a second device.
If we have fitted the part, we also perform warranty work, if the client has installed himself, we make an agreement with his workshop BEFORE they start the claimwork a reduced hourly rate of complaint / repair cost. We supply any spare parts to repair
A3:
Part with one or more deficiencies. They may have a high km. figures, oil consumption, leakage or like, it will be announced at sale.
Sold without warranty but with the right return.
That is, they can be delivered back and get your money back if we do not have a second A3 part, they can be exchanged with, or customer will not pay the difference to an A2 or A1 part. Buyer is responsible for all expenses in connection with this.
